Our great country is not what the intellectual elites on our university campuses would have you think. It is not what the talking heads on cable television would have you think. Nor is it what some dictators in underdeveloped socialist countries would have you think.
We believe that if you want to see our country as it is, you should visit your local hardware store. Walk down mainstreet in a small midwestern town and witness Old Glory flying every fifty feet on either side of you. Maybe you could attend a Friday night high school football game.
The United States of America consists of more than the east coast and the west coast. These places are very important but are only part of our country. They provide great window dressings for those on the outside, but what lies quietly in between is the soul of our country."
